Aislinn undertook her Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Edinburgh College whilst also working at the Small Animal Hospital with The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. After graduating in 2016, she remained at the hospital working in the first opinion department for a further two years before taking a year out to work and travel abroad. After returning, she spent a period of time in locum positions and working in a variety of practices before joining the team here at Veterinary Specialists Scotland in September 2020.
Aislinn has a strong interest in anaesthesia and is currently working towards her Nurses Certificate in Anaesthesia which she hopes to complete by the end of the year. She is looking forward to working in a hospital setting again, being involved in a wide range of cases through the various departments and developing her nursing skills further.
Outside of work Aislinn enjoys hillwalking with her two dogs, Jess and Brodie, and spending time in the south of Spain when possible
