Chris graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2013. Following a couple of years in general practice in north Wales, he undertook an internship in a private referral practice in north west England. He recently completed a 3 year residency training programme in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia at the University of Glasgow and then stayed on as a University clinician for a year. He also completed a Masters thesis investigating the effect of different anaesthetic drugs on recovery from anaesthesia.
He recently sat and passed his European Diploma examinations.
Chris is interested in all aspects of veterinary anaesthesia, particularly patient safety and recovery. In his spare time, Chris enjoys all that the Scottish outdoors has to offer – from skiing to long distance running in the hills.
