Lorna has been fortunate enough to have been around animals all her life both as a pet owner and employee, which has given her a keen interest in all aspects of animal welfare. Lorna has worked in quarantine/boarding kennels, Stable/yard management and dog handling to name but a few. After studying law at University of Edinburgh she returned to working with animals (she prefers animals to people!).
Lorna has been working as part of the night team in out of hours emergency veterinary care for the last 7 years and finds this extremely rewarding. She loves the unpredictability of each night and helping care for our inpatients and see them reunited with their families- that is real job satisfaction!
When not working Lorna spends time with her three Siberian Huskies- Tyla, Quanah and Breeze along with various other family pets. She love life outdoors, on the road with her motorcycles and campervan!
